Candy McLean brings over 10 years of experience in e-business planning, creative design, copywriting, and Internet marketing to the Sencia team. She has helped hundreds of companies realize their true online potential through all phases of development, from conducting market research to creating visually stimulating, content rich Web presentations that employ advanced online marketing strategies. Clients feel Candy is invaluable as an e-business consultant because she truly understands their big-picture goals while simultaneously focusing on the finer details of design.
Part of what makes Candy's work so enjoyable is the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients and industries. She has worked extensively with Vancouver's premier real estate development companies to establish a compelling Web presence showcasing their new home and condo developments. She also collaboratively wrote a column for the Vancouver Sun featuring the new home industry as it applies to the Internet. Candy's experience was further augmented when she went on to manage one of Chicago's top Web Design and Internet Marketing firms, working with clients throughout the US and Canada, primarily in the automotive, recycling, telecommunications, spa/beauty and fashion industries. She has been the creative force behind several successful e-businesses, including the Chicago Beauty/New York Beauty/Miami Beauty/LA Beauty brand, Fashionista, and Lana Unlimited.
Candy's busy professional life is balanced with an equally active personal life, raising 3 children with her husband Rob. When she finds some time to herself (!!), she loves to kayak at her home on Oliver Lake, do yoga, and write.
