Small Drinking Water Systems
This online training program teaches participants how to select and maintain a small drinking water system and provide safe water to the public. The course has 10 modules that cover the hydrogeological cycle, threats to water quality, the equipment to use to collect, filter and disinfect ground water or surface water, water testing protocols and emergency planning. Two versions of the course are available: 1)The Federal version is based on the Guidance for Providing Safe Drinking Water in Areas of Federal Jurisdiction. 2)The Ontario version is based on Ontario Regulation 252/05
