Product and Asset Exception Improvements

Sencia has improved the Informetica LMS with respect to reporting and data entry with the Product Exception features. There is now full traceability of data manipulation of the Product and Asset Exceptions.  This includes the recording of the account who creates, edits or deletes an exception with the date and time they performed this action.  This information is displayed to the administrator visually in Informetica and available on report outputs.

Update Details

These improvements can be found on the following preset reports:

    • R213 Product Enrollments
    • R504 Asset Exceptions
    • R507 Product Exceptions

    Updated – Exception Data Entry

There is now full traceability of data manipulation of the Product and Asset Exceptions.  This includes recording of the account who creates, edits or deletes an exception with the date and time they performed this action.  This information is displayed to the administrator visually in Informetica and available on report outputs.

Added – New Data Element – Exception Designations

Exception Designations have been added to the existing Product and Asset Exceptions features.  This is to improve upon the intention and purpose of the exception, and to clarify why it was generated for the user account.  For example, clients can use designations to quickly identify exceptions created for a person's non-compliance.  Formerly, there was an ability to record a description entry on the exception.  While descriptions are supportive information to enter about the exception, they do not have consistency as data entry can vary from different team members providing this information.  By adding a designation, the intent to the exception can be categorized uniformly.

    Added - Designations to Report Outputs R213, R504, R507

The Product and Asset Create and Edit Exception pages have been updated to include a new dropdown list of Designations.  The label names of the designations will be controlled by dictionary entries such that they can be customizable as desired.

These reports can be generated as HTML, Excel and CSV outputs.  The designation information is outputted and available for manipulation in Excel if further filtering is required.

R213 is a Product Enrollment report, when multiple exceptions have been applied to a user’s Product Enrollment record (such as a Product Exception, and multiple Asset Test Attempts), only 1 entry should be displayed indicating an Exception has been applied.
