Hearing Conservation

Course overview: Exposure to harmful noise in the workplace can result in gradual and permanent hearing loss. This course helps you take action to prevent hearing damage and hearing loss at work. To begin, you’ll learn how noise impacts your hearing and when you should wear protective equipment. Next, we'll review the different types of hearing protectors, why they might be selected by your employer, when to use them and how to care for them. Finally, we’ll look at how a Hearing Conservation Program can protect you from hearing loss while you’re on the job.

After this course, you will be able to identify hearing hazards and take proper precautions to conserve and protect your hearing.
